Mountain huts offer a place to relax, take a breather, and have something to eat and drink while enjoying the spectacular views. Have you ever experienced first-hand the last rays of the sun disappearing at the end of the day behind the mountain peaks?

Nestled at the foot of the mountains at the edge of St. Jakob, Landhaus Zauser is the perfect place for hikers. It is possible to start out by foot directly from Landhaus Zauser or to take a bus to the start of your chosen hiking route.

A far-reaching network of bike and mountain bike routes are just waiting to be explored. All the routes are well marked, including information regarding their difficulty, and they all take you straight to the heart of the natural environment in the Arlberg region. Racing cyclists also appreciate the range of challenging routes that wind their way up and down the mountains through the region.

For those who like to do particularly long tours, or for those who like to take it easy and explore the region during their tours without sacrificing altitude metres, it is possible to rent e-bikes from the many local sports shops.

If the fields are not covered with snow, they are perfect for a round of golf! Located at the foot of the mountains, the 9-hole golf course in St. Anton is suitable for beginners and advanced golfers alike. Are you curious? Then why not try it out. It is possible to rent equipment and to hire a trainer here in the village.

On Thursdays you can put your abilities to the test in small tournaments for guests and locals. One green fee is included in the St. Anton Summer Card (note: a golf licence is required).

The high mountain peaks that surround St. Anton offer a range of challenges for experienced climbers. The Arlberg’s via ferrate is considered one of the most difficult routes in the Alps, demanding surefootedness and a head for heights, but rewarding with spectacular, panoramic views of the region. For more thrills and excitement, the Arlberg also offers a winter climbing route at Rendl.

The high and low rope course in Verwall and the indoor and outdoor climbing facilities at arl.rock offer alternatives to the adventurous and dizzying heights of the Alpine peaks, without reducing the potential for fun!
